Online Texas Hold’em Poker Special Investigation Show will be featured on CBS’ 60 Minutes

Posted under internet poker & online poker & poker

poker scandal
On Sun., Nov. 30th the CBS network will air their investigation special “How Online Gamblers Unmasked Cheaters”. This documentary was produced after a four-month study into the online Texas Hold’em business and in particular a scam concerning the online Texas Hold’em poker room Absolute Poker.

This Texas Hold’em poker site was examined after several of the Texas Hold’em poker players on the page stated that some person was illegally winning a great amount of cash. Todd Witteles was a crucial witness in this inquiry, according to Witteles; he was losing incredible amounts of poker hands to the very same poker player. Witteles claimed that this man was raising against exceptionally good cards, most players would have thought he was basically giving out his money, but he was actually winning many poker hands.

Witteles was in the right with his suppositions, it was later discovered that someone who knew about the site was able to watch everyone´s poker hole cards. At first look, Absolute Poker claimed that nothing was wrong with the webpage or the Texas Hold’em competitor. After numerous players showed up with claims, the Texas Hold’em poker page examined deeper into the issue and uncovered the scam.

In Jan. of 2008, the KGC came across what the Texas Hold’em competitors and the poker page had assumed all along. The investigation proved that, there was a worker who had hacked the Texas Hold’em room’s protection and was playing poker illegally for more or less six weeks. The examination verified that the Texas Hold’em poker webpage had not profited from the unlawful behavior by any means, and was not involved.

These scams are further evidence that there should be more guidelines regarding online poker pages. The United States government needs to authorize and regulate the internet Texas Hold’em business to guard these honorable customers. These rules would also control the access to these webpages by kids, which tends to be another problem issue nowadays.

Party Poker Rakeback Is Not An Option

Posted under casino poker & online poker & poker & poker rakeback

Poker rakeback is a great way to earn cash, but on Party Poker rakeback can cost you your winnings as well as your account. Some online casinos do not offer rakeback programs. Unfortunately some rakeback affiliates link to these sites without their consent. Make sure you read all the terms and policies before you sign up. If you find a link to Party Poker on a rakeback affiliate site do not sign up with that affiliate.

At online poker sites like PartyPoker.com, rakeback is not given to its members. Instead Party Poker offers bonuses and other incentives. It does offer an affiliate program but this is not the same as rakeback, which is paid to the player for playing, while the affiliate is paid for signing up the player and for the player playing. Sign up bonuses and other loyalty incentives are used.

Since Party Poker rakeback is not available, players can accumulate PartyPoints to use in the PartyPoints store. These PartyPoints may also be used for freerolls. Party Poker is one of the biggest online poker rooms and offers Texas Holdem, No Limit Texas Holdem, Pot Limit Texas Holdem, and Fixed Limit Texas Holdem. It also has Omaha and Stud, both High and Hi-Lo, in both ring games and tournaments.

Even though PartyPoker online poker rakeback is not offered, from 40,000 to 70,000 players flock to the site each day. You will always be able to find your game of choice. There are always multiple games for $20/$40 limit and no limit players can find hundreds of games at all limits up to $10/$20 which is the highest no limit game available on PartyPoker.com. An additional feature of this site is the ability to resize tables. This is beneficial to players who play more than one table at a time, as well as players that have low-resolution monitors and need several windows open at a time.

Tough options in online poker.

Posted under internet poker & online poker & poker & poker room

If I told you every important decision in poker was actually an easy decision would you believe me? Probably not, but if you believe in your inner self and have inner balance and control then you can hear and listen to your gut feeling and follow through with your gut feeling. Your gut feeling or intuition can be your best friend if you believe in it, trust it and listen to it. Your intuition is that first feeling you get, the majority of people never believe or trust in there intuition and dismiss the feeling as just a thought and then think more and end up with no real confident answer or decision.

Everyone knows that one guy that seems to just seems to float through life and always gets so lucky, well that guy probably listens to his inner self. He’s probably laid back, never really worried or never panics just always seems so sure.

Your 6th sense isn’t the solution to all your problems and your gut feeling isn’t always right, just because your gut feeling isn’t always right it’s not correct to stop listening to it, you need to understand that your gut feeling is the best tool that will help your more times then not, so listen to it unconditionally.

You have most likely heard the miracle stories about animals sensing stuff before it happens, or animals acting weird or behaving weird before major events happen. This is because animals rely on intuition, they trust and rely on instinct for survival. They don’t have time to thoroughly think things through or contemplate, they feel there gut trust it and react on it.

This is not to say that you shouldn’t think about decisions or problems and should just do what your first intuition is, because evaluation is an important and critical part of the decision making process. Going over all the variables presented to you to come up with a conclusion. So evaluation is important and should be done, but you should be able to feel your first natural instinct and let it play a major role in your decision making process. You should give your gut feeling the top value on the list of variables that you consider when making a decision.

For the majority of people they will never be able to tap into there 6th sense or will never be able to know when they hear it or feel it, this is because in order to hear and listen your gut feeling you need to have balance in your mind and body, you need to have emotional control over yourself, you need to be in touch with your feelings. Everyone has instinct and gut feeling so if you don’t know what your gut feeling is it’s probably because your mind is clouded and cannot clearly identify when your gut feeling kicks in and talks to you.

Being able to hear and listen to your gut feeling can become a very powerful tool in your online poker playing, you have to listen to your gut though, the first instinct or thought you have is usually always the correct decision. Your mind is a powerful database more powerful then any computer and has a hard drive that stores every hand you play, every bet that people make, every situation that happens. So your gut feeling is usually what the mind feels based on your database of similar rakeback situations.

So practice listening to your self, identify when your gut tells you something and believe in it and use it in life, use it on the rakeback tables. Hopefully this will help you improve your poker game and make you a better player.
